ARAM believes in the philosophy of consierge service for the patient. We believe there can never be one size fits all when it comes to an individual's health care.

ARAM also believes there are no short cuts if one really wants to make a difference in standards of health care one receives. Proper objectives can not be achieved if only a very small percentage of members is contacted for only a few minutes in a year.

Following examples will show our commitment to improving healthcare one patient at a time.

GF A member who was running low blood sugar was immediately helped to correct his low blood sugar. The patient was educated as to how to avoid getting low blood sugars and the patient's physician contacted and explained the situation. Patient's medication was changed and the patient has not had low blood sugar again.

HS A member who was on medicaid ran out of medicaid when the member was in the hospital. After the hospital discharge the member had no way to buy medication till she was reinstated by the medicaid. Our educators discussed the case with the pharmacist on the member's behalf and got the member loaner medication till the member gets medicaid. The member remains healthy and possible admission and suffering to the patient was prevented.

WG A member who had diabetes for five years and had never had an eye exam. Member was educated about the need for a regular eye exam and member's primary care physician was approached and an eye exam was arranged within two weeks. The eye exam showed moderate diabetic retinopathy. Member is now regularly attending eye specialist and taking care of all preventive care related issues.
